It is said that people are not fully confident on where Siamese cats originated but mostly they hail from Southeast Asia. This cat is easily distinguished because of its thin and slender body with black patches and a pair of clear blue eyes. Their triangular face is even complemented by the sharp ears with varied colors of points on their faces. Their short coat of white, black and colored points makes it shine among the rest.

So why are Siamese cats that famous that everybody seems to know them? Aside from their mischievous nature and curiosity in trying to find and play with things, Siamese cats are born stars. They are cats that have a lot of personality! These cats like to “talk.” They are pretty good conversationalists as they respond by being very vocal whenever their owners talk to them. They are playful and they like to go around and satisfy their curiosity. The best thing about these cats is that maintenance is so easy to do. Baths can be given only once per month and proper brushing of their fur twice a month is going to be really good for it. This cat is the perfect pet for children and families because it takes only a while before these cats adjust to you.

Taking good care of your Siamese cat will surely add more years to his life. Cats have nine lives, so they say, but being a good and loving owner will surely be a way for it to last longer. Well, lets say you did not find the perfect cat you wanted at the local animal shelter, you can probably get in touch with local cat breeders who would either have some cats available for adoption or they for sure can get you connected to somebody they know that has a bunch of cute kitten looking for a new home.
